How to read our recommendations
A recommendation explains who a product may suit, its main trade-off and the sources behind the comparison. A warranty term, price or material specification is not a service-life prediction.
Some older guides show numerical editorial scores. These are not standardised test results, customer ratings or a measure of how many years a product will last. Do not treat scores from different categories as directly comparable.
Our refreshed guides use model-specific facts and written comparisons. Where evidence is missing, we identify the gap rather than filling it with a durability score or a promised lifespan.
What our recommendations are based on
Biflly publishes research-based buying guides. We compare manufacturer specifications, warranty and repair policies, published reviews, and owner discussions. A recommendation does not mean we have personally tested or owned the product.
Original testing is identified only when it has actually taken place, with its method and duration stated. A short test cannot establish decades of use. Owner reports can suggest issues to investigate, but a small or self-selected sample does not measure a failure rate.
